Anxiety in Children and Teens

YOUTH ANXIETY BROCHURE FOR PEDIATRIC PRIMARY CARE OFFICES

The US Preventative Service Task Force (USPSTF) recommends that primary care providers (PCPs) screen all children aged 8 to 18 for anxiety disorders. In response to this recommendation, The REACH Institute and Anxiety and Depression Association of America partnered to create a FREE brochure for PCPs to share with caregivers of anxious children and teens.

The brochure provides helpful information about:

  • Key signs of possible anxiety disorders
  • How to determine if a child’s anxiety is typical or not
  • How caregivers can help anxious children
  • Treatment options for anxious youth
